Yeah after about two hours I am up, but slowly loading. I must find another broker by the end of the year. Unless it is an exchange problem or another 9.11, there is no excuse for completely losing two hours in a trading day. Especially without any compensation.

catoosa, try restoring to an earlier date. I had to go back much earlier to get it to work the other day.
Thanks, after three tries I got it to work. I replaced both tws.Mon.xml and tws.xml with tws.Fri.xml and TWS is working as it should.
Don't forget to apply duct tape and bailing twine to your computer for the final fix. Sheesh, what you IB cultists will go through to keep the old gal running.
The all-cat I.T. department (outsourced to Purrrsia LOL)!! __________________ Please, I'm not a daytrader, I'm an "Intraday Liquidity Provider" IF YOU HAVE TO ASK THAT, YOU SHOULD NOT BE TRADING OPTIONS!!
I've had luck copying over a previous .xml file and then when you run the TWS and everything comes up normally, make sure you do a Save Settings. The next time you run, it is my experience that it comes up okay. Quite an annoying bug though.
