Somebody needs to come up with a program that changes the word God to AGW and vicey versey in a post. It would be a comical trip when you re read them

    Yes it is.
Understanding how the universe doesn't need a 'Creator' is not like believing in pixies.

But never mind the substantive point. When you have no real excuse for the genocide, murder, rape and the killing of children, either carried out or sanctioned by Bible God, just focus on the pixies .

To be fair, we did nuke a couple of cities under the cold, secular logic of utilitarianism.

    1. why do you keep trying to repharase your silly argument.
yes... if there are infinite other universes it might explain why ours is so incredibly designed for life.

but the fact that there could be a way of showing the universe would not need a creator... does not come close to ruling out there was a Creator.

    2. as if politicians don't find ways to do the same things without invoking a God. right now the big pixie is man made global warming. As loyek points out you have no peer reviewed science showing man made co2 causes warming... yet you believe in it an your politicians are using it.

  6. To religious people like jerm, science makes a mockery of their delusions, thus it is the enemy. Certainly not something to be approached fairly. So even though there are mounds of peer reviewed sceince showing man made global warming, jerm's ideological blinders prevents him from acknowledging it.

    An interesting psychological condition.

make up your mind. Now I'm confused. The part about God creating the world is just pixie dust, but the part about murder and rape is true?

So incredibly designed for life, it is manifested as a speck of bio-chemical existence hanging by its fingernails to a fleck of dust in an infinite void completely inhospitable to it. Were it design, then it would be a universe incredibly designed not for life.

You keep trolling out the same old response. Now it's to avoid refusing the atrocities your own 'designer' is said to have perpetrated in the Bible , and to which barbarity, religious belief gives warrant to excuse, dodge and blindside.

Sure, the science which describes how pumping vast amounts of gas, high concentrations of which are poisonous to life, and which happen to cause a planet to warm, isn't science.
Your best idea, religiously and politically motivated is, let's all just see how much the whole system can be overloaded to the point of no return before bothering.

Your blind denial of that science is the Pixie in the room.

Ok I can see you're confused. To expand what you said right there, are you proposing the part about Bible's murder and rape isn't true, so the part about Bible God creating the world is just pixie dust also?

But surely you see the point is really about the question of the morality of those who worship a concept called God that consecrates violence, murder and rape in the Bible or Koran - a morality that does not elevate or dignify human life.

    Said superstition.
