Is Globex down??

everything ok again.

 

I use Spike Trading and it seems as if their Globex feed is down too.

 

cme interface was down today. Between the cme and the ecbot, I think the merger is going to get messy. Be prepared to hedge outiside of the exchanges if they go down intraday, I am referring to eminis.... and any globex or ecbot contract.

 

Globex is finally back up.

 

I have TWS up but my orders are dark blue if they existed GTC from Friday and anything I submit now is light blue - never goes green. Anyone getting orders through to Globex?

I chatted with IB and apparently the issue is solely with the Jan EOM 1400 put. All other contracts seem to be going green and working properly, but for some reason this specific contract is hanging up. IB's tech support is working on it.

 

does anyone have any clue why a market order on a liquid item on globex would take about 120 serconds to get filled through IB this morning? should'nt all market orders be filled near instantaneously on a liquid item? what possible reason could there be for the delay? was IB just holding my order for 2 min? possible issues at globex? i saw the price moving so i assume globex was working fine.

 

What color was the order during the 120 seconds?
