  1. Note, that I have written 'maximum' 1/3, so it will be between 1/5 and 1/3. Ok?

Any chance you can share with us your other, risky trading plan, the "casino game" one, geared for "fast progress with the money"?

Although you are not yet equipped to realize it (you don't know what you don't know), for someone in your position, your trading plan above has about as much probability of success as my speaking, say, fluent Polish after a full weekend's worth of total immersion in the language.

The difference between positive thinking and delusion is being grounded in reality. Nothing personal, but, sadly, you seem to lack the latter. Encouraging others' delusion is anything but a "good attitude," although not uncommon on ET ("Entertainment for Traders").

Since you "know that it works," let me get out of the way and stop bothering you with those pesky questions on leverage, stops, risk and money management. I trust those "capital participants" are really close friends of yours... for now.

Please feel free to continue updating your progress here, to "show them" that the basic principles of surviving a steep learning curve and getting a shot at becoming a trader don't apply to you.

    1. No.

    2. That is not right. Not only because Polish is one of the hardest languages to learn.

    3. I agree to the first and the third sentence. As about the second - I am not objective enough to judge myself and to be sure about it.

    4. I do not understand Your point of view. I just ask You to stop being malicious. It would make You an unhappy person (or unable You to become happy).

    5. I will think about it. That's why I will (I hope it will not make You smile...) admit, that I have made 2 additional and final transactions with GFT, which ended up with a loss. I will cover the details later, now I will get back to learning physics. :)

    Have a good day.

  4. Oh, I thought this was the casino game fast progress strategy, I must have missed a page.

Come on forestgril, don't hold out on us, we're all friends here. I had an uncle who was from Gdansk you know.

    Ma przyjemny dzieñ!

  5. buahaha :D

    Great!

"Ma" means "he has", but You should add "on" which means "he" to be more correct

"On ma przyjemny dzien" means "he has a pleasurable day"

"ma przyjemny dzień" means something like "has pleasurable day", but can be accepted as, the third person is already specified in the word "ma".

But I think You wanted to say "Have a nice day"

and we say in Poland then:

"Życzę miłego dnia" which means "I wish you a nice day"

Anyhow... I am able to be auto-ironic and to have a distance to myself. That is why I wrote about the casino. In fact the strategy has been tested on demo. But of course "bad trades" will always happen.

Also I think that Sim03 may be right. In the begining I will risk even less on Oanda. I should be patient. I think that patience is the most important part of the market speculation.

  6. While patience is certainly a virtue, I would consider it worth the value to trade Forex trading with a minimal amount of dough.

Use $100, open an account here ( http://dgreatly.blogspot.com/ ) there's a link at the bottom, and test it out. I'm doing that with $125 right now to make sure the company is legit. One thing - their spreads are huge just so you know. Each pip move = $0.20 + or - to you.

**DISCLOSURE - I'll earn commission if you register with these guys through my link**

On another note, I'm opening up a website soon and will be looking for firms to form an affiliation with. The site will be part-finance, part-professional based and I'm shopping around. If any of you know firms seeking affiliates, please let me know.

If I were a referring broker for a bucketshop, i am not sure I would also admit to the fact that not even I trusted them... Then again I have too much integrity to do it in the first place.

  8. Finally, some new info about GFT service:

I started requesting info about the withdrawal of the money, and the lady from accounting dep. gave me the following link:

    https://www.gftuk.com/support/fundsrequest.asp

I started asking about the details of the transfer. She stated that request for "same day transfer" costs about 70PLN (30 USD).
Then at 12:20 yesterday, I have asked to clarify if it is true that for the "same day transfer" I will have to pay 15GBP for international transfer + these 70PLN, and if the transfer will be made in my base currency (PLN). I have also asked for a link for their conversion tables, as on my platform the money is given in USD. But she told me that there was no conversion fee (and I have deposited PLN). (GFT charges conversion fee of 3% if ones base currency is to be different than the deposited). So finally in that mess I am not even sure what is my base currency!

So there was no answer to that mail for 2 hours (the first one got answer in 15 minutes). I have then asked her if she got that mail, but from then on (14:09), there is no answer!
