LOL you have no freaking clue, do you?

In the period from 1871 right up to the 1st world war, the main preoccupation of the entire foreign office was of germany's ascent.

Eyre Crowe, in a very famous memorandum in the late 19th century to the Foreign office repeatedly warned that the Crown had severely underestimated Germany's ascent to a great power and what had happened since 1871 would forever upset the balance of power in Europe.

It was explicitly stated that Germany would seek European hegemony due to the circumstances of its unification. This memo was highly regarded and read by both the Asquith and Lloyd George liberal governments which however decided upon a policy of German appeasement.

Metternich knew as much which is why he sought the Carlsbad decrees to ban nationalist activities in pre-unification germany.

A united Germany has far too much power on the continent, it will either end in it's demise or Europe's.

Germany and France are letting PIIGS twist in the wind to leverage full political integration of the Eurozone. That's their agenda.

  6. Looks like this is the route they are taking, a very risky journey indeed.
In the mean time Germany started to fill the heat today, if the "do nothing" approach continues, they will probaly fil a lot more.

  7. The Germans are the most responsible people on Earth. They work hard instead of being welfare dependants. They manufacture the products they need and export the surplus instead of importing. They save instead of spend. They rent rather than own.
The rest of the world is pressuring them to bail out the weaker irresponsible EU nations and they should just tell everyone to f off. The world doesn't need another example of moral hazard, bail out, inflate, and kick the can down the road.

Then break the fucking EZ up and resolve the situation instead of constantly moaning about speculators.

  9. How are france, netherlands, spain, austria irresponsible (all have their yields increase sharply) while Germany with deficits 80% to GDP are the most responsible?
These people have a selfish colture which comes back to bite them time and time again, they have started to feel the pain today, and the longer the wait the more costly it would be for "Germany"

The real threat of Europe is not from German fiscal discipline and its pulling whip on slacker nations...............the real threat to Europe and World is the Anglo-Saxon led irresponsible meddling into the affairs of other countries. The missile shield in Europe has reached the rhetoric of Russia calling for targeting and destroying US Command and Control areas. When was the last time Russia made such a statement............I think it was during the 1962 Cuba Missile crisis.

I would be happy to see Germany rise in Europe as they are hard working, honorable and prideful people.

PIIGS should be given harshest treatment even if that means them defaulting and getting kicked out of the EU.
