This virus doesn't do all that well south of 30 degrees latitude. So most of FL is doing well. Doesn't mean there isn't a risk. Just means we'll do a lot better, and it is already in the high 80s and will be 90 this week. Between that and the sunshine (UV rays) we're in a good spot.
Dominican Republic has about 40 cases and they are pretty tropical right now but maybe the spread is contained because of the climate there. Just spoke with a business partner there and things are not closed, they quarantined the 40 or so who are sick and are monitoring the situation. Maybe weather will help...
St. Martin does too (I've got connections there) but all of them came from external locations (off island). None were transmitted locally. Again, doesn't mean it can't happen. Just means these areas are highly resistant to pandemic effects of this virus strain from all available evidence.
Well warm weather plus lockdown might make Spring break the end of this bullshit. I am stuck at home and raiding the large inventory of snacks we loaded up on and not getting to go out and play.....
NYC follows San Fran lead gives shelter in place order. IOW, Lockdown. Every single city of any size will be locked down by the weekend. Hysteria rules the day. What happens when people start dying is substantial numbers, and they will. Only gets worse from here.
Yep. The ripple effect will be fast and severe. My demoncrat mayor just signed a death warrant for this town. Absolutely unreal. None of the cases here "started" here - they are all people who got sick out of town and have ended up in local hospitals.
This comes next, probably by months end. https://www.newsbreak.com/illinois/...ale-of-guns-or-ammunition-due-to-corona-virus
