Ocho... .... I thought you were smarter than that lol. WMT on a Sunday?! Corona Sunday?! That's like the idiots you see lining up to buy sh*t the day after Thanksgiving. Come on Ocho... Yeah but you might catch it going into a Walmart Super-Center on Corona Sunday when 90 million sheep are are panicking because.... well, because. They were told to. rotf.
The stores were normal today because all the assholes raided the stores last week and now the shelves are back to normal except chicken and water.... Not sure what you are referring to or where you live but both Walmart and WF were normal Sunday crowds.
Some of you guys are blaming the media and causing a panic while also claiming we are going to turn into the Walking Dead after Rick woke up..... Make up your mind. If people stopped being assholes and stayed away when they felt sick or stopped being Rudy Gobert fucktards, the spread would be more controlled. If the government put everything aside and got testing to the forefront we would have more information and better quarantines. Wash your hands, cover your mouth, stay away from crowds, keep it up.... Cutting interest rates does nothing, the economy is going to take a a hit but will survive since this is not 9-11/tech crash or systemic housing market crash. We don'rates from 1% to 0% necessarily. Maybe federal spending to help out affected sectors just like they bailed out Wall Street and housing sectors.
IL. Governor orders all bars and restaurants in the entire state to close for two weeks beginning today. Was this the choice of the establishment owners? No. Did they have a say? No. Were they consulted at all? No. Government boot on your throat. And what happens if you decide not to close? Do the Brown Shirts goose step in and put a bullet in your head?
I guess that means that most people inside the beltway will just be watching porn from home then, rather than from their office.
Abstract Following the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS‐CoV) and Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS‐CoV), another highly pathogenic coronavirus named SARS‐CoV‐2 (previously known as 2019‐nCoV) emerged in December 2019 in Wuhan, China, and rapidly spreads around the world. This virus shares highly homological sequence with SARS‐CoV, and causes acute, highly lethal pneumonia coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) with clinical symptoms similar to those reported for SARS‐CoV and MERS‐CoV. The most characteristic symptom of patients with COVID‐19 is respiratory distress, and most of the patients admitted to the intensive care could not breathe spontaneously. Additionally, some patients with COVID‐19 also showed neurologic signs, such as headache, nausea, and vomiting. Increasing evidence shows that coronaviruses are not always confined to the respiratory tract and that they may also invade the central nervous system inducing neurological diseases. The infection of SARS‐CoV has been reported in the brains from both patients and experimental animals, where the brainstem was heavily infected. Furthermore, some coronaviruses have been demonstrated able to spread via a synapse‐connected route to the medullary cardiorespiratory center from the mechanoreceptors and chemoreceptors in the lung and lower respiratory airways. In light of the high similarity between SARS‐CoV and SARS‐CoV2, it is quite likely that the potential invasion of SARS‐CoV2 is partially responsible for the acute respiratory failure of patients with COVID‐19. Awareness of this will have important guiding significance for the prevention and treatment of the SARS‐CoV‐2‐induced respiratory failure. https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/jmv.25728
This is a tremendous tragedy . . . . . . . stay best. Melania Trump says she made ‘difficult decision’ to cancel White House Easter Egg Roll First Lady Melania Trump’s office announced on Monday that it has cancelled the annual White House Easter Egg Roll. In a statement, the First Lady’s office said that the move had been made “out of an abundance of caution” during the novel coronavirus pandemic. “The health and safety of all Americans must be the first priority,” the first lady said in the statement. “I deeply regret this cancellation, but we need to make difficult decisions in the short-term to ensure a healthy country for the long-term.”
Most of those bars would have been empty anyway as most people are staying home. A business should have the right to make their own decision but this is a national health risk issue that overrides that. Rudy Gobert laughed at being cautious and then he has it and infected his teammate. What if Donovan Mitchell was visiting his parents and grandmother on the day off while at home and did not know he had it and in 5 more days they pop up with it. You may not be affected too much by it but you could give it to 5 other people who will be. It is a tough decision to make but you have to look at the bigger picture. I would rather things close for 2 weeks and the State spends money to help those business who would have lost money anyway staying open but not prevent spreading, then spend 2x as much money on the health care system that will be run over.
