  3. If they subsidize the trucks I'll get a new 1/2 ton Chevy. And they should subsidize the trucks to motivate me to buy one, a win win.

  6. Asking people to pay something for health care instead of my paying for it in its' entirety via emergency rooms and other costs, is IMO, pretty conservative. Whether you call it a tax, just for fun, or a penalty, just for fun, at least they're paying something. If you prefer to have your taxes pay for all that health care without any reimbursement whatsoever, well, sounds like a fiscal liberal to me. I believe in personal responsibility.
