Is DayTrading Stocks Even Worth it Anymore?

    Yes, I think daytrading is worth it even with low volumes and lower volatilities.

    Hi all

    Nice thread - and quite encouraging.

    I started off daytrading US equities from the UK seriously around 6 months ago but over the past two months have switched focus to the European markets - specifically XETRA Dax stocks.

    The reason for my switch of focus is that I am finding the US markets swinging and whipsawing all over the place leading me to get stopped out far too many times.

    Daytrading the XETRA Dax equities is SO much easier as there are very few whipsaws and the stocks move far more gracefully than in the US, making the use of indicators/TA very powerful.

    I have heard that about several of the european indexes as well. Have you ever traded the nasdaq 100 eminies. They move with about as much grace as a bed of fire ants right after you poke it with a stick.:p
