Out there, there are plenty of traders/investors thriving in a variety of time frames, asset classes and trading styles. People here, unfortunately, seem to have a very narrow understanding of the financial world and that reflects on how the markets function and what works.
Within the ET community, there are plenty of traders/investors thriving in a variety of time frames, asset classes and trading styles. And you know who you are. By the way, you are one and I benefited from reading many of your posts. Regards,
If I told you how much I made from day trading this week you probably wouldn't believe me.. I like it that way.. I like when people say there's no way day traders can make money.. Less competition and more money for us..I have been trading for 10 years and it took me along time to figure out the game.. And I'm still learning new things everyday.. But when you get to the level of consistency, boy it's so worth it...
I beg to disagree. Less competition from us mom and pop is less money for you. Who are you going to take money from if we quit trading? I used to send money to you when I day trade, now that I quit day trading, you won't get any money from me anymore.
Not sure that you will give him no money anymore. Daytraders can be your counterparty. They don't trade in a seperate market only accesibble for daytraders. Long an short term are all buying and selling in the same market, and many times from each other. A daytrader can buy a sell from a LT trader, and he can also sell an intraday to a LT trader.
OK you are right I stand corrected. Now I only sent a check to you once in a while instead of a regular check every day. On second thought, I only trade options, so are we related if you day trade the underlying? Best to you.
