http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped..._Midwest.svg/350px-Map_of_USA_Midwest.svg.png For accuracy... or did you mean southwest?
Don't forget the North West, Spain (western maybe?), Ireland (western - not sure), East Coast (probably they live either on the west side of their town, the west side of their street or some portion of their house faces west). Conspiracy uncovered...
An overwhelming large percentage reside in the mid to southwest area of the United States. Not sure why this is--- bored retired folks living fantasys on the Internet, perhaps?
A scientist from the University of Wisconsin is conducting studies on flies. He anesthetizes a fly and places it on his lab table. When the fly comes to, he loudly tells the fly to fly away. The fly flies away. He anesthetizes a second fly, removes one wing, and puts it on the table. When the fly comes to, he loudly tells it to fly away. The fly jumps around a bit, but is unable to fly with only one wing. He anesthetizes a third fly and removes both wings. When the fly comes to, he loudly tells it to fly away. The fly just sits there. The scientist writes the following conclusion in his journal: Removing both wings from a fly makes it deaf.
DP is giving helpful advice in SLA threads now. If he can move on and try to actually help struggling traders perhaps you should too? i think you'll find that geography isn't a meaningful variable in this but I'm not an insider and don't know where people live unless they state it. I'd be willing to ask other members of the SLA community where they are from and we can make a spreadsheet of it if you can explain to me how this will improve anyone's trading?
Where did you hear this joke from? The reason I'm asking because I've heard it first time like 30 years ago in opposite part of globe from where I live now. Edit: Oh, and it wasn't scientist from Wisconsin
Someone emailed it to me years ago and I placed it in a humor file and thought of it when I read Surf's observation. I replaced whatever place the scientist was from with Wisconsin because it's in the Midwest!
