  3. Why? One day when he comes to Lagos, I would surely invite him for a cup of coffee.

  5. I've been through half this thread on NoDoji's recommended post, but feel that it's been such a waste of time. It would be nice to see what post she was referring to.

  6. Hello friends,

Any news since last time we spoke?

Circumstances made it such that I'm able to open a small account with a local broker which I plan to swing trade on the side while pursuing other interests as my main focus right now. I have a long term perspective and no pressure to make money, although I'm aiming to make a killing.

I think day trading can be worth it, but I don't have the resources (time, money and sufficient edge) at the moment and am not willing to forsake other current pursuits for that to happen right now.

I may already have mentioned my view, but I think that for day trading to be worth it, you need a really good model which is designed not just to make a living, but to make a killing. Grinding it as a day trader, win some, lose some and having a heart attack in the process from all the stress does not seem worth it.

I think it's possible to create a really good system and I already have parts of it in place, so I will continue working on that on the side. Ideally, I should be able to automate it. At least partially and make it as objective as possible. When that is in place, I will come back and not grind, but to make a killing.

At least that's the plan. :)

    Regards.

  9. I have been day trading and ONLY day trading for about 14 years and yes it is worth it, it is not for everyone and it does take a certain skill. I am having my best year ever this year. Sure there will be losses just keep your losses small and don't get greedy. I never hold overnight.
