Is CME ES solely traded electronically.

  3. He means there is no reason to assume it will open again near the same price.

    If interrupted by some sort of catastrophe, such as 9/11, the price could be VERY different.

    Why would you assume that?

    If there is a black swan event that causes ES trading to hault, why would it reopen at the same price?

    If a stock gets haulted for news dissemination or an order imbalance, would it reopen at the same price?

    Doesn't anybody think before posting?

  8. It will reopen at the highest bid. B/A's are not held on a halt or weekend,3:15-3:30 or 4:30-5:00 pm cst maintinance closes.
