  1. You are, as usual, missing the point.

  3. If at some point you're ready to move on from juvenile name calling and baboonish chest pounding and have an actual conversation, let me know.

    Until then...not worth my time.

    Cheers.

  5. Guys, just ignore asiaprop, he is a waste of time. It really makes reading the threads a lot better once you put him on the ignore list.

asiaprop does seem a bit of a dick, or at the very least, very defensive about China's miracle economy.

I think I'll take your advice.

  7. What you are failing to realize is that China's economic power comes from production, not design. As China's production industry becomes more mature and adopts things like environmental regulations, labor laws, etc. their costs are going to increase causing the value they passed along to foreign companies to evaporate. The clock on China is ticking and time is running out on the value advantage they provide.

  8. To a lot of Americans, China is a scary black hole. You will be sucked in if you get near it. Staying away is more comfortable.

  9. i fully agree with all your points below and never questioned them except that time is running out. The century has just begun, and this is China's centuries whether you like it or not. I am not Chinese, not Asian, yet I do not comprehend how someone cannot see this.

  10. It's not that I don't -see- something: it's that I've heard this song before and know how it ends.
