Did I say that? You are the one who blames all social pathologies on class division. Actually, in liberal mythology white on black crime is far more common than the reverse, all of it fueled by racism. Liberals imagine the KKK is still alive and well, hunting down innocent blacks like little trayvon and executing them.
Point is, wherever you go on this planet in search of mobs "running wild", is it ever the haves doing it?
Those mobs attacking whites, asians and gays are probably encouraged by class warfare speeches and such, but the origin of their behavior is the fact that they have no proper upbringing. They were not raised to respect anything or anyone and neither were their friends and fellow gang members. While I think that it is true that they see whites and asians as being successful and having things they never will, and base their attacks on that... its not like they will not attack other blacks given half the chance, or when those other groups are not around like in Detroit. Unfortunately there is not much you can do to raise someone else's out of control children...except provide them lengthy prison sentences or shoot them yourself when they attack. As a black person I have no sympathy for out of control mobs violently attacking people at random. I am all for a "kid gloves off" approach whereby they can be shot by the people they attack or the police right on sight. The one universal thing that everyone understands is the use of immediate and overwhelming force. My father saw it and used the threat of force himself growing up in North Carolina in the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s against KKK supporters terrorizing black neighborhoods and it is equally justified in these instances in Chicago. The political establishment is not doing anyone any favors by attempting to keep that sort of behavior out of the public view. Everyone knows that it is going on and the public will eventually make it a big issue if the problem is not corrected immediately. At some point the public will vote in politicians who will favor more extreme measures of handling the situation.
