HOOD is down almost 8% for the day right now, and rightfully so. I was just mentioning this week how insane it is to see hood over $10 a share, when it's not even worth 10-cents a share. Just goes to show you the insanity of 2021 and how desperate bag-holders still are at the moment. Paypal was able to just barely touch the $100 marker recently, giving its own bag-holders a sign of hope of possibly re-couperating a fraction of their massive losses, but she's back on her next path to the next leg-down (as expected). There is a lot of pain, crying, and desperation in tech-stocks. Exactly as had been predicted but... Cathie Wood seems to fill the need of giving these followers something to still cling onto.
Meanwhile I saw a blurb that as of yesterday, AARK was up 18% in a week? Why the disparate reading? You'd figure they would be equal up v. down percent-wise.
The lower it goes the more dramatic a retracement seems. Unless you pull back and look long term. Less than half (approx 42%) of ATH from just 2021.
ARKK and many of the reddit effect tech stocks (not the original GameStop and AMC) are, more or less, acting as penny stocks right now. ARKK and Cathie were reddit effecters Original FAV best friend forever BFF. Because they are so low, even smaller volume buys can move them...then pumpers ride them for a while (reddit effecters love short squeeze type plays). As long as you get out of the way of earnings dates, you can pump and dump these forever. In Fact, there will probably be reverse splits in some of these pretty soon...then, of course, shelf offerings (death spiral financing), Coupon and convertible issues, shares for capital...Nite is ON THE BID PS...Buyer beware. When the NASDAQ starts looking like a Penny Stock Bulletin Board and the DOW is walking with a cane and seeing eye dog...you can be sure the end game is near for Trust in Wall Street as a capital market. Then, when the White House starts using Russia Fake news PRs as a Pump signal and for Pump promotions...then we can be completely sure its end game.
That is what I was commenting on. It shows very clearly "down 25% "in a week"". ? Stop getting too Canadian on me. Is it a Celsius thing?
