Is Cathie Wood funds in big trouble?

Options are only for short term trading. The volatility is too expensive....

 

The nasdaq is in big time trouble and this will have a huge impact on her ARK etf.

 

I tried to short ARKK. Was able to short two small positions. Then IB said they were not available to short.

This is the problem with shorting securities. Our trading system only makes it possible to buy or long, but makes it extremely hard to short.

Only limited ETFs are inverse. Equity future is another story.

 

Buy a put and sell a call simulataneously

 

Not really worth it. Going through all the bid/ask spreads with options...

 

or sell some ditm call and catch some premium along the way

No it's not!
It's a big game, you just havent recognized it yet.
Run the Nasdaq down, run the Dow up.
When it looks really bad (ignoring Dow) and panic sets in, run the Dow down then to create just a bit more mayhem, and low and behold we save the earth by running the bottomed out Nasdaq back up again.

Thats how we prolong the bull market, take turns running the indexes up and down out of synch of each other.

 

Be thankful for small mercies.
