The US would have "won" (I put it in quotation marks because it was never achieving much but human suffering) if it had stayed in just a bit longer. The last major NVA offensive basically used up their remaining reserves. Mistakes were also made far earlier that if avoided would have let the US win in the early years. Sorry for OT, but a fairly good objective British documentary on the matter is Battlefield Vietnam:
Guys, I have a special offer I thought I may chip in here for those interested. Hope this is not against the rules for peddling. World War II Vintage French Rifles for sale! NEVER BEEN USED! Only dropped once.
As long as she hedges, she will be fine. The recovery is an eventuality; the question is when. It could be after she depletes all of the funds in the portfolio, it could be before, nobody knows. This is why she needs to hedge to weather any storm that comes her way before the recovery happens.
You should create a thread in the section titled "Chit Chat" with this post. You will have better response there.
She must be averaging down buying at the dip. For that, she needs $$. Looks like she didn't tp at that top and that's why she's peddling for funds now.
That's my point. All it takes are enough anti American idiots to spread and repeat that they got a smack down in Vietnam and, voilĂ ! they did. And you can make every effort to logically demonstrate the idiocy of the statement, all you end up doing is add fuel to the joke. Because the joke isn't logical, it's just an emotional disdain against another people and if it triggers a reaction, then it's more fun repeating. That's how prejudices are build.
What is the best way to short the ARK sh*ts? Just find some brokers who allow you to short them? Wish someone can create a double ARK shorts. Then I'll buy some.....
There are options on ARKK. Huge premium due to 3% daily volatility. I sold most of my ARK, ARKG & IPO holdings back in March since it dropped below the 50-day & support on the downside. It was a great trade from April 2020 to Feb 2021, but those companies in 10 months factored in 5-10 years of growth so sideways to down is all you can expect.
