    This is beyond belief;

"Oil prices, which have set records in recent days, shot past $102 per barrel Thursday. Pump prices rose closer to record territory above $3 per gallon, with the prospect of $4 gasoline when the busy summer driving season arrives.

"That's interesting. I hadn't heard that. ... I know it's high now," Bush said during reporters' questioning."

This fantasay cowboy chimp brain moron is OUT TO LUNCH. Surely there is some provision within the constitution for a president to be removed if he is clearly mentally incapacitated (likewise Fed Chief}. He has to be removed NOW, not when his term is up. He has no contact with reality and is only interested in war it seems. Yu have somebody who is only interested in another country (Iraq) responsibe for the USA. It is like you had Robert Mugabe running the USA on the side.

Bush, Fed Chief See US Weathering Economic Storm; Recession Not Seen on the Horizon

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The economy is in turmoil, yet President Bush and Federal Reserve chief Ben Bernanke say the country will weather the storm. Neither sees a recession on the horizon.

  3. Kinda off subject but relevant. I just got back from early voting and I'm in Texas. You have to declare what primary your voting in republican or democrat. Of the 9 people in line in front of me 7 said democrat and I didn't hear what the other 2 said. My town in west Texas is probably 80% right wing republican with a strong bible tradition. My precinct is probably 95% white middle to upper middle class. This is my first time to vote in a democrat primary and I'm guessing it was for some of the others in line also. I don't know if it signals anything or just timing of being there at that time, but it did surprise me.

  5. That's right!

Bush did what HAD to be done!

The libs forget that Saddam was responsible for 9/11!!

Bush and Rice kept the smoking gun from becoming a mushroom cloud but the libs conveniently forget that!

He had drones ready to fly in from off our coast and drop chemical and biological weapons on us too - but again they conveniently forget ALL of that!!!

I heard a rumour from a British Marine officer friend that the casualty numbers from Iraq and Afganistan do not include immigrant soldiers, enlisted to gain nationallity to the UK or US.
Apparently, they account for some 20% of the troop numbers.

Its a rumour, so use it, dont - I aint sticking up for it

you guys give way too much credit (or blame) to the president -- but such is polarized america. you use both ends against the middle whenever it suits you to explain your perception of the world around you.

here are the real facts... one man (the president) is NOT responsible for all of your woes, or your successes.

and if you truly think he is, then you have to give equal credit to him for the other side of the equation -- if you blame him for your problems, then you have to thank him for your successes. and vice-versa.

Where oh where do these dick-heads get their wrong info from - the tooth fairy maybe ?

Lets use the facts to have a meaningful debate.
One fact that has just appeared on the radar screen is that John McCain wasn't born in the USA ! But Panama. Is he some sort of illegal alien ? Apparently not

Chief Snowflake states quite categorically that John used to visit the reservation regularly and spent a whole 5 minutes in the Chief's own teepee. Well you cant get more native than that.
The Chief has a P.S. which reads " could they spell his name right on the next cheque please.
