All from Office Space. if you have never seen it, you are missing a good laugh. https://businessmovies.wordpress.com/2008/01/11/office-space/
so which part of reality had you not comprehended when you posted your drivel? The fact in bev is belgian the fact that they are lecturing to us after America just voted to keep potential terrorists out the fact that we do not any more immigration til wages start rising significantly? the fact that we do not need any more extraction of tax payer wealth to cronies via bad govt? the fact that leftists have no idea what the right side of U.S. history is? Were you the one making fun Trump and proclaiming Hillary inevitable?
Someone would have to have just come out of a 20 year coma not to see the virtue signaling and Trump pushback in the ad. Don't forget, this is the same bunch of idiots who gave us Amy Schumer with Bud Light. They clearly want to appeal to the thugs dressed in all black with bandanas covering their pimply faces as they run around smashing windows and sucker-punching preachers. Fine, fuck you InBev.
You didn't answer the question, so I ask you again: what part of the ad, specifically, did you find so overwhelmingly offensive? I really want to know.
WoW! What an impressive ad. I have always disliked budweiser, it tastes like it been used to rinse out a garbage can, so I was disappointed when AB InBev said they would not change it because the other InBev beers, the ones made 100% with barley, are great.. But now I promise I'll buy at least one Bud and give it away -- I still can't bring myself to drink this shit. What a great Ad !!!
Very nice. Earlier in my career, the company I worked for hired McKinsey to come in and suggest an organizational change, and responsibility shift. The kid they put in my office had all sorts of suggestions for my group. Some were good, but I could tell they were just regurgitated from previous meetings with other employees, and many were stupid if not downright dangerous to business. He was taking notes and I said "mind if I take notes on your thoughts, too?" Of course he agreed, thinking I was finding his thoughts interesting. I knew they were going to implement a course of action I did not recommend, and I wanted notes for when it blew up. When we did the org change, and the part I thought was stupid blew up in their face, I sent the notes to my boss. I doubt it had any effect. But it felt good.
Ok, I just watched the ad. I don't find anything offensive about it, and I actually like it. It reminds us that this is still the land of our dreams. Hard working immigrants can still come here (and should) bringing their ideas to succeed. I don't think it suggests that illegal immigration is something we should accept, rather that hard working immigrants are always what has made America one of the best countries on Earth. Never mind, of course, that the German in the commercial fights oceans, bigotry, fires and disaster only to come to St. Louis and found a beer company that is ultimately taken over by a European conglomerate. I thought it was a feel good commercial. I won't drink Bud because it sucks still, but that's a quality thing. Not everything has to be interpreted politically these days.
