Just like hedge fund provides liquidity if it has market access,i suppose tapeworm also provides some sort of liquidity if it has access to digestive system. Also both seem to have similar goal to grow.
One Billion episodes too many. The true parasites, are cooking the books, like those $2B missing in that company from Germany. There are parasites in every hierarcy and in every single institution out there. Maybe even some countries, has parasitic aspects to em too. It's everywhere. And especially in human nature. Some deal with it & some fall for it. I almost took 5 digits of dirty money. That would have made me a parasite for sure. But instead, it will be a legal credit of a lesser size. And will remain uncorrupted. While the Theranos CEO would be a higher level of a gold digger, some alien type of parasitic life form. (Sociopath/covert narcissist) She even has plans for the new project (laughs) art by H.R Giger, the concept author or ,,The Alien" franchise
well if they are parasitic, they are really failing at it: Massive Hedge Fund Failures https://www.investopedia.com/articles/mutualfund/05/hedgefundfailure.asp
In parasitic hierarcy real estate agent seems related to a trader inside hedge fund with salery + result oriented bonus. Trader working in fund has to make more right choices then wrong not to lose bonuses or job. Real estate agent working in agency also can get better regions or real estate deals with better fix but most likely no drawdown with bad decisions, just lesser growth. As far as i know 2008 was also about organized loan overflow by banksters involving real estate and investment + corrupted rating agencies. In my opinion real estate its just different operation of the same human nature soup. I dont think real estate investor is fundamentally any different from stock investor. It takes experience to evaluate areas, buildings , repair costs , potential etc. , just like with stocks. Also good if understand overall housing market direction. Real estate agent who is part of agency might be on safer parasitic ground but also less potential reward.
IMHO they are. And at the same time there is nothing wrong with that. One way or the other we as humans are all parasites on this earth and in this universe. So on a certain level what hedge funds do is very natural.
