Not exactly. Astro-trading is about predicting/anticipating market turns clued from astrology*. (If that were to actually work, it would be a genuine "edge".) Proper TA is about recognizing "a price event" is occurring or that one has passed. *Rosecast sometimes sends emails informing of an upcoming event... soliciting recipients to subscribe to their service. In all the ones I've received, NONE have been correct. But they also send out reports of successful trades they've called but didn't tell us about in advance. I don't know how to reconcile this with the fact they apparently have a good track record with Timer Digest. (??)
Random stars separated by space which have no bearing on what will happen to you or what will happen in the market.
A lot of people doing this. They just don't realize their trade method had originated from someone that believed that lunar cycles, planetary movements were variables used in some well known trade methods (e.g. Gann, Fibonacci). Thus, if there a connection between astrology and mathematics beyond just saying that astrology uses math to calculate angles between planets ??? I remember in college, a close friend would joke about using astrology to pick up women at the bar or parties. He'll walk over to someone and say...what's your sign ? Sometimes it worked
Astrology cannot tell everything about stock markets. Different markets react differently. For me, astrology can tell, in general, in what way the global sentiments will be. But, each market has its own drivers. Like Thailand's, even in a worldwide strong uptrend atmosphere, the stock market may slip as key market makers wanna sell. Anyway, I believe astrology plays a part of market sentiment, but you have to take into account other surrounding factors, which may help confirm what will be happening.
It it works for you, then it is good - self explainatory. That include looking at things like these for trading : Astrology Cartomacy Chiromancy Cleromancy crystallomancy numerology palmistry taromancy tasseography
WD Gann used a lot of astrology in his trading methods. Hard to understand and use but if you can figure out his works then the more power to you.
True story: I once saw an ad for new traders at a Chicago prop firm. The ad stated: ”practitioners of Gann or Elliot Wave need not apply”.
