Is anyone using Edwards and Magee's trendlines in action rules?

Never understood this, if you're going to trade an ETF, why not just trade the future? More bang for your buck. Also, No day trading restrictions, more leverage, easier to short, and I think more liquid. Just curious..

I dont follow. What's so bad about trading futures as opposed to the corresponding ETF???
