Not sure about that but this market seems way overbought and ramped up partly due to end of the quarter window dressing. May likely see a pullback next week. Made some money this AM and then was away for a couple of hours. Sure is slow though, but like FullyArticulate just said, you can always look for something that's moving if you choose. Seems like whenever I get bored and come over here to post, the market moves a bit while I"m gone. :)

  3. The new electronic grains futures look good enough to day trade. Lots of liquidity, lots of movement. They're worth a look for anyone who's trading futures.

    Corn, Soy, Wheat

Maybe soy meal and oil, but I haven't looked at them yet.

  5. Can you give us an idea about the liquidity and movement in those grain
    futures ?
What exchange are they traded on and
    what brokers offer access ?

  10. CBOT is the exchange. I have access to them through IB.

The liquidity is great. Spreads are rarely more than 1/4 (a tick) on wheat, and corn is even deeper.

    Volume today:
    Wheat: 29K
    Corn: 85K
    Soy: 25K
    Soy Meal: 5.7K
    Soy Oil: 5.6K

That's not bad seeing as how ER only has 92K contracts today.
