  2. I guess patriotism would keep most of the mini volume on the OSE. From what i observe, depite the 10 pts incement of the Osaka nikkei contract, the osaka contract is still more liquide. I dont think the mini volume will transfer to singapore despite the smaller increment.

    It's a Fib number :D . I use 2584, 1597, and 610 for the Nikkei Mini.

And Taodr, yes, it is Quotetracker.

Very nice chart, I assume the chart is a full session, what time period of the chart reflects the lunch down time? Are you using tick candles or time? If time what period? In looking at the chart the move from 15660 to 15740 would be an 80 tick move correct? equivalent to 16 handles at 500 yen per handle equaling an 8000 yen move. Have I interpreted this correctly?

    Thanks

Hi, Trinitytrader, yes, it is the full session without the after hour trading period. It is a 1597 constant volume chart. And yes, you're also correct in that, it was an 80 tick move, 16 handles at 8000 Yen per contract.

Edit: The lunch was from 9:00pm to 10:30pm. But it's not apparent on this chart, this is a constant volume chart.

Taodr, the help file included with QT explains some of the basic paintbar programming ideas. But you could get more detailed description over at the old QT forums, and/or the new QTusers forums.

If you still couldn't find what you'd like, PM me and I'll see what I can do for you.

  10. I tried to use IB simulated trading for SGXNK, but the order never got filled (in fact, no pending order neither). Is IB simulated trading working with SGX? I tested it with ES and it worked fine with ES.

My Currency is USD. If I trade it live, will I have to convert the currency to yen before I can trade. How can I keep the profit in yen or do i have to convert it back to USD?
