No you don't get my point.I never said competition was bad,I said the across state lines shit doesn't address people not being able to get health care due to pre existing conditions, and just like the rest of the GOP you ignored that I'm all for competition, the best competition of all was the public option
In every state as long as a person has a valid drivers license,A car insurer has to insure them. That is not the case with health insurance
Hardly, but as long as you leave your magical thinking to the idea stage you won't be proven an idiot.
Have you been to Cuba you babbling fool? They are using russian medical equipment from the 50's. This might be the single most uneducated post on ET.
Cuban medicine and equipment may not be the latest, may even be dated, but at least Cuba's government does not brutally enforce participation in the system to the extent Canada does. I gotta tell ya, it's harsh here. Government thugs everywhere. Yeah, true, I no longer have to pay the $43 a month for full healthcare that I used to, but that was a tiny, ridiculous concession by the government. It's still a socialistic, authoritarian, brutal regime... You woudn't believe in the undercurrent of extreme hatred for government that the populace of Canada feels if I told you about it. Seriously, you wouldn't believe me. I don't care if the health stuff here is modern, I feel the weight of government on me every day. I'm suffering. Terribly.
I visited cuba in 2003 with a well respected Ortho Doc from Tennessee (primary clients MLB Players). He came up with several new techniques with regards to scope surgery. He was down there to give some lectures regarding his techniques. We toured several hospitals in cuba. Like I said previous, Cuba's OR equipment is 50's Russian technology and the anesthesia machines are down right scary. I to have heard about Cuba's excellent health care, but after visiting was a complete fallacy.
