it seems that the higest speed with these is 2.0GHZ. but since they are designed for efficiency, does it affect speed/performance?? anybody using any of these for trading, is so what speed?
am i better off going with the Pentium 4, something like this for trading.. http://www.ecost.com/ecost/ecsplash/shop/detail~dpno~200680.asp
its a choice. power or battery life. i have a pentium m 1.5. the battery lasts over 4 hours. it has plenty of power for most trading i would guess.
A 2.0mhz pentium m is the equivalent of a 3.0ghz pentium 4. You can run it in a desktop with a fanless cpu cooler and fanless psu if you want silence. see www.silentpcreview.com
Pentium M is far faster than a equivallent clocked Pentium 4, so it is not a matter of battery life versus performance, the Pentium M is just plain better across the board.
