Sitting on bids and asks in the same series is a privilege reserved for market makers. Spoofing is also against the rules. So, presumably you were doing so on different series?
I did it in different series, but sitting on bids and asks is not prohibited in europe. This guy wants to trade in Europe from what I understand. Getting my delta right: I think the market is going up, the public is buying 11 at the money calls with delta 0.5, I sell them calls too expensive thus getting my edge, but problem: I think market is going up, but I'm short 550 delta's. Solution: I buy 1 future (less margin) and 100 stock. End result: I sold options too expensive, and I'm long 50 delta's which is a small position but nevertheless on the side where I want it.
