Well, I took a loss(somewhat large) at the end of last year for a stock I've held for a few years. I knew it would probably result in a small refund based on witholding for the year, and it did. I just got the refund and the IRS up'd it $300. Hey I shouldn't complain, they did me a favor! LOL, actually crying! The last time they re did my taxes and bumped up my refund it took over a year to get them to see they were wrong. The 1st or 2nd person I spoke with admitted it was wrong, and were very pleasant to deal with, then the nighmare began. From that point on it took about 5 letters and easily a dozen phone calls, with excruciating wait times to get the money back to them in a manner that was documented to cover my ass. There are alot worse things in life, but right now I want my Mommy!
