I think the irony is "People are aware of these simple facts, yet they deny it and hardly practice it". It looks like this, "one knows one has to work hard to acheive anything", yet how many do work hard? Maybe that is where the irony lies!
again, the only real EDGE is out in the open and you can hear it from old traders as well as people who have made it and wrote a book about it (see marty schwartz and others) yet new traders fail to grasp what it truly means: KEEP YOUR LOSSES SHORT and LET YOUR PROFITS RUN. There is no other edge. And for this to happen, you have to know: A. Your market B. Your strategy C. Yourself
