Iraqis Drag U.S. Corpses Through Streets

  1. sulong: Wow, you're right!

So what we are actually tapping into here in Iraq is primative survival/fight to the death elements being demoed by the Iraqis!

    Gee...

Well in that case we've got to aerial spray the entire nation with Prozac.

  2. Sad thing is, most Iraqis are glad Saddam is gone, but these few shitheads can destroy all attempts at progress.

  5. I am talking about the countries that I stayed in and worked in where there is a large poverty base, lots of corruption and where people have been so much tiranized by rulers that they do not care about more suffering.

I am not talking about the US. Just look at my handle for one of the places I have been.

And while I am on this subject - and slowly getting worked up about - I think it is time for the US to stop sending mixed signals to these fanatics.

Basically you can not win this if the locals keep on harbouring these individuals.

( Look at Ireland, how many centuries has that been going on? Nothing to do with faith, Christianity etc. I have friends from all kind of different walks of life and faith and these are real friends, not shallow ones that only think about themselves. They would put their own lives and futures in jeopardy for me. )

It is like a parent: if you are not consistent with your behaviour then the child grows up to be a monster. Like has been said on this thread before: look at our backgrounds and you'll see the same happenings in your own environment in the past. Man is a predator, except these days it has the power to destroy all life on this planet.

One moment the US cuddles up to these people and rewards them and then the next moment they admonish them.

If you really come down to the nitty gritty then I believe there is one universal "semi religion" and that is called the $$$. People do everything for the almighty $$$.

And it starts in (y)our own backyard in the US. Lets take Malaysia for instance (I am not singling it out for a reason, just an example).

Some groups very vocal condeming the US. Some very fanatical groups wanting to create an Islamic state over Malaysia / Indonesia / Southern parts of the Philippines. About 300 M Muslims in total (a rough guess, no-one knows for sure)

And yet in spite of this we throw people out of work in the US and we'll start some manufacturing plant there (eg Dell).

Why cannot the US government say: "OK you are not appreciating our way of life, well so be it. We withdraw all business from your country and shut off your country from all our intellectual property. You can stand on your own feet" Look what happened to Africa when all the colonies became independent. All poverty now and rapidly diminishing population due to disease.

Then to the business that are still insisting doing business there and resisting withdrawing: OK, you are not shutting down there, fine, no longer allowed to market in the US. You go there.

(you can say the same about Indonesia with textile industry or other countries, it is just an example and I am not judging any country here)

I have done this: When I was in Bali after the Sept 11 bombing I saw locals walking around with T-shirts on from Bin Laden and with the Twin Towers on them. Like it was something to be proud of and celibrate. I thought they were imports from other parts of the country until I discovered that in one of the bars (that was blown up and was rebuild, yes it was my favourite hang-out and I was lucky) there was a picture of the bomber hanging in a prominent place. Like he was some kind of a hero.

Well if they think in that way then they can mellow in their own misery and they do not need me there spending my money and helping the local economy.

I had a good time up until that fatefull moment.

I have nothing against the predominant Hindu majority there. They are the most peaceloving people you can imagine. But as long as the local population does not take action and keeps on harbouring the extremists then nothing will change.

So here in Iraq I would suggest that whenever an atrocity happens against the US just all favours get (temporarily ?)withdrawn until the extremists are being handed over. Just turn of the oil, turn of the power so that the majority themselves are starting to feel the pain. Build one humongous petrol station outside Bagdad and shut all petrol stations down. When someone gets injured shut this petrolstation down for a day or so. Bring the city to a standstill. It will hurt their way of life, their economy. Good.

Same with food and water. Shutdown their watersupply for a day or so. Let them feel who is boss, punishment does not do jack s%*t as they have been brownbeaten by all the dictators. That is just their way of life.

( This is what you do with a child to: if punishment does not have the desired effect, you just take away their treats and soon enough they start to fall into line. Tough love )

In the meantime do your own little bit and do not help to fund these extremist by bringing money to their countries. (And supporting those who bring money there)

Just a thought, don't know how practical it would be but it seems to me that there is a lot can be done starting with yourself (not you as a person but yourself in a generic way as an individual).

    Peace

  6. gamalruach and axe must have been severely abused as
    children.

-American led sanctions killed almost 1.5-2.5 million Iraqi children between 1990-2000 (UNICEF, Amnesty International Reports). And another 300K Iraqi's during the 1st GF. And, the sanctions destroyed the society in terms of education, economy, etc. Thier per capita income and literacy rates were much higher before GWI. They have no reason to like us.

Neo Con morons predicted Iraqis will welcome Americans with "Rose Petals". I dont see anyone welcoming. Plus, we are stuck with three ethnic groups who hate Saddam, Americans and each other.

I feel bad for those poor civilian contractors who are paying with thier lives to make money for others. Halliburton, Lockheed, Becktel, etc.

What's happening in Israel is simple occupation and resistance. (Bottom-line is that Israel is an "UNJUST" occupier). Israeli's and Pal's deserve each other as both are stupid and violent. Cycle of violence will never stop. People with vision like Yatzaik Rubin get killed while war criminals and crooks like Sharon prosper by selling "Fear".

aahhhhh, its too much to write and I don’t have time, but I'm sure that gamalruach and axe are compensating for something (1 inch p$nis) by displaying their amazing ignorance and bigotry.

  8. Saudi is fairly safe (at least statistically). I would go for 6 figures as they have almost no tax. Downside is very little freedom.

But, Saudi's treat Americans like Royalty, Kiss ass and stuff. To Saudis (atleast before Iraq Invasion), anything American is cool, even shit. You can package shit and tell them Americans use this for skin rejuvenation and they will pay tons of money and rub shit on thier faces. I'm serious!

I would stay as far as possible from Iraq.

  9. Spoken like a true idiot. :D

Abused as a child? Now your a psychologist or you
just enjoy using fallacies such as poisoning the well?

Bigotry? Quote one thing I said that qualifies as bigotry.
You cant. You can only attack the person and fabricate
    nonsense like this.

American led sanctions killed the iraqi people?
Learn to place the blame correctly. Saddams actions
    caused the sanctions. Blame him.

Since you just showed up to flame people and lie
about what they said, maybe its YOU thats compensating
    for something small? :D
You seem very confused and delusional.

Thanks for enlightening us. NOT. :D
Now please log off the internet before mommy finds
out your trying to play adult. LOL.

    peace
