  2. Mecro, you're too funny!

    I love these new concepts!

"(Most Arabs) live to suffer and die for Allah."

"Most Arabs are a bunch of psychotic half humans that will never understand civilized ways of life."

    "Extremist countries." <-- LOL

"I say it's time to abuse the shit out of their population until they learn some respect." <-- Destined to be a classic. Probably something Saddam used to consider as he was drifting off to sleep at night.

"Start concentration camps, raids, public executions." <-- Eh, a bit on the dramatic side - may be a good psychological touch.

"You cannot deal in a civilized manner with these people." They probably just need some American meds is all. Build a replica of Las Vegas in the middle of Iraq - give the Iraqis something to do for fun other than drag burning Americans around.

"They (Arabs) live to hate, suffer and destroy life. " Hating, suffering and destroying life makes the world go round, pal.

"Enough of this crap, just fuck those stupid Iraqis up." So much for the "all we need is Love" idea.

I guess that makes Muqtada al-Sadr next in line to be whacked Israeli pocket rocket style.

  3. I disagree. I dont buy all the spin about WMD's.
My original take on this has not changed.
    Here is the timeline:

    1) Saddam invades Kuwait
    2) Kuwait calls for help
    3) US shows up and pounds Saddam into submission, there is a cease fire and agreements are made.
    4) Saddam starts blocking inspections, thumbs his nose
    5) Clinton is a pu**y and barely does anything
    6) UN is worthless and does nothing
    7) Bush comes into power
    8) 9/11 shows us what terrorists are willing to do
    9) Saddam in violation of ceasefire and UN agreements for a decade+ now
    10) Bush gets one more UN resolution passed, the final test.
    11) Saddam thumbs nose, provides bullshit docs, acts as guilty
    as OJ
    12) Bush enforces UN/ceasefire agreements.

Conclusion: NOT a pre-emptive strike. An enforcement of the
original deal and continuation of the original war.

Saddam started the war. He initiated. We only enforced.
WMDs were political bullshit to get support to ENFORCE the agreements.
Simple as that. We didnt need that excuse, but the threat of
Saddam and terrorists getting together to hit us was real at the time.

  4. You guys are not respectful of other people's cultures.

Dragging mutilated corpses through the streets is a cherished part of Muslim culture, as we have seen in Somalia, Ramallah, and now Falujah.

Who are we to say that it's 'wrong' for Muslims to engage in time honored Islamic traditions like dragging mutilated corpses, female genital mutilations, wife beating, suicide bombings against innocent civilians, and camel racing?

Let us try to understand, and be respectful of their unique culture, ok?

  7. One thing you're leaving out, Axe, Saddam and Iraq believed they already were in full compliance of the cease-fire agreement because they did not return to Kuwait, and that the US government was just harrassing/persecuting them for their Islamic religion, a belief that is still prevalent today.

One thing yah gotta hand to those Iraqis, they got grit.

  8. This may be true, but it only means Saddam was delusional.
    (Which is easy to believe.)

Someone who blocks inspectors free access to everything, while
being threatened with war, while at the same time believing
they are in compliance has some serious issues.
Especially when the UN inspectors stated he was not in compliance.

Saddam had the power to prevent this part 2 of the war.
All he had to do was comply. He chose not to.

The rest is history, and so is Saddam. He made the mistake
of thinking Bush was as spineless as Clinton.

Saddam and Iraq believed they already were in full compliance of the cease-fire agreement because they did not return to Kuwait

They need to learn to READ then, because the agreement
required a bit more than this :D
