  2. No Iranian.

"Many of the dead and wounded were Iranian Shi'ite pilgrims."

  3. You claimed that Osama bin Laden was DEAD, imply that he was killed by a "daisy cutter" bomb - - - yet you conveniently ignore the release of all of his tapes over the years, and as recent as the conflict between Hamas and Israel . . . and now deny that your logic ever said (or implied) that he was killed by such a bomb.

Face it moron, your beloved George Bush did not make chasing down OBL a priority. As I recall, he was behind the 9/11 attacks, and not the country of Iraq.

Thank you for showing everyone how much of a LOSER you are . . . Another kid playing on the Internet placed on ignore.

Does Baron pay you by the post?
Because you obviously have nothing to do with the financial markets.

  4. OBL tapes. Yeah some dude with a fake beard in extremely grainy video shots. Get a clue.

Actually, I need your help. Can you explain this? Have you ever seen the movie vacation starring Chevy Chase? It came out in 1983. Have you ever heard of direct tv? it came out in 1994. Yet look at this.

Its Christie Brinkley looking exactly like she did in 1983 pitching DirectTV. How could that be? They must have used some sort of time travel. Afterall, I saw it on tv. It must be real.

  5. Saddam was the secular buffer between extremist in the region. Removing him by definition allowed Iran to get a foothold in Iraq I've been saying this for six years now.

Ultimately the American War in Iraq accomplished one thing and that was to hand Iraq to Iran on a silver platter thanks to the American serviceman and the American taxpayer. This is quite more than Iran could accomplish on its own through the 1980 war.

  6. Excellent point.

It is one that General Brent Scowcroft ( the NSA to Ford and HW Bush ) presented on several occasions, but Dumbya and Chinsey didn't want to listen.

The neo-cons had an epic FAIL.

  7. First of all, Iran was invaded by Iraq in 1980, not the other way around so trying to say the Iran-Iraq war was about Iran dominating Iraq, is very misleading and flat-out wrong, but hey, you are a lib, why let the facts get in the way.

Second, it was Obama who left Iraq on its own to deal with Iran. The whole point of this topic is that Iraq is falling back into chaos because the terrorist sense weakness in Obama and they know at this point they can take over Iraq simply by using their will.

It is the same in Pakistan where the Taliban knows it wont have to deal with the US so it will push forward to try to topple the government and take over.

Lets look at the trend. Iran becomes an Islamist state when Carter is President. They know Carter isn't tough and will offer no serious resistance.

From there, no more states fall to the fundamentalist till 1996. None, fell during Reagan or Bush. Then they lose Afganistan to the Islamic fundies called the Taliban. Once again, they saw how Clinton ran from Somali and they smelled weakness. The sharks smelled blood and they pounced on Afganistan. From Afganistan Obama finds safe haven and when given chance to take out Bin Laden, Bill Clinton chooses not to take the political risk and lets Bin Laden go.

The trend reversed and Bush took Afganistan from the Taliban.

Now, we have another Dem in office. A guy who doesn't have a whole lot of back bone. It looks like the trend is going to continue. It is possible to lose two or three countries during an Obama Presidency and thats in a first term.

  8. Absolutely mind-boggling that violence has increased in Iraq!!

It's not like our Prez announced we'd be cut and running or has made public formerly secret memos and denounced his own intelligence agency's interrogation tactics or anything...

Yep, it's an absolute mystery as to why the Iraqi insurgents and Al Qaeda in Iraq would gain any confidence from recent events.

  9. Yes after 1600 years of secular strife between two hated religious groups of Islam it's quite “mind-boggling” that the “Bush Surge" cured absolutely jack-squat.

    Stunning really.

Add 1 U.S. citizen in jail in Iran.

Think what imbecil POTUS has done on international level (apologies etc.) add CIA investigations and ask the question. What rogue elements around the world have to fear?? Absolutely nothing. THEY KNOW THEY WILL BE ABLE TO GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING.

Those CIA matters don't bother me though. It's a big political liability. No gain just potential huge loss.
