The Iraq Iran region has the largest untapped known supplies and the lowest cost of production in the world for the product in question.... And there is a dire need for it.... In a court of law....it is called a motive.... Hussein banned the US majors from Iraq over 25 years ago....and Hussein is no more.... ........................................................................................... The issue here is that some people just do not want to believe the obvious........because it may be viewed as unpatriotic..... When a country scoffs at what is true, then what does that country really represent....
So what if the Iraqi oil contracts go to some Western oil companies? Where's the "scandal" in that?? Would you rather have those contracts going to the Russians or Chinese? Most of the oil revenue will go to the Iraqis anyway. Or are you complaining that the Americans will steal it?
