Very true, but that never stopped them before. Something has changed. First the tipoff about the rocket attacked and now this. Sure they're stilling laying some of it off on the U.S. but I think they're reaching out. The sanctions are crushing their economy and I do believe they were bitch slapped into a little bit of reality with Trump taking out their main General. The game has changed and they know it. I'm not saying we should just roll over, but this may be a very unique situation where an opportunity to establish better relations with them is within reach. We should, albeit it cautiously, pursue this path a bit further.

But the plane’s flight path would suggest otherwise. It was climbing at around 2,000 feet per minute on its ascent from the airport when the first missile was fired, according to a Times analysis of flight data. Flight activity from Tehran’s international airport was normal on the morning of Jan. 8, the flight data showed, and Flight 752 followed its regular route. It was one of 19 planes that took off from Tehran in the hours after Iran launched missiles at military bases in Iraq housing American troops. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive...leeast/iran-tehran-airport-crash-flights.html
