What IQ Option's 15-minute Forex binary option offerings looked like at the start of this 3rd week: Times correspond with the West Coast (USA, Los Angeles).
I am seeking to use my short-term adaptive price range tunnel to beat the binary option guys by dealing with the time issue in an effective manner. In this test case, I am looking for AUDJPY to be below 71.8465 at expiry in about 10 minutes (@ 10.15 p.m. PST). RESULTS: At 10:15 p.m., AUDJPY was in-the-money at 71.8285... This is just my initial test case, but I believe this system will work nearly 100% of the time. If additional testing proves this to be true, I might initially deposit $10 with IQ Option and see how long it takes me to double the account balance, then double it again, etc., until the amount I make each day via their platform becomes significant. I made the exact same trade simultaneously in my Tickmill account trading a 0.02 Lot size and it yielded just 19ȼ. However, the binary option trade returned 75ȼ, suggesting the exponential growth of a small account via tiny moves in price trading binary options can occur much faster than trading a traditional Forex account—but again, that will depend on an extremely high success rate. (I will not be receiving the funds I plan to deposit for trading purposes until Friday, so I will not begin trading live until Monday or Tuesday of next week at the earliest.)
15-minute Forex binary options available from IQ Option on Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. PST... At 2:00 p.m. USD/CAD was dropped from the list. Due to how impressed I was with the characteristics of the above-mentioned short-term adaptive price range tunnel (tube) I spent all of yesterday reconfiguring my charts with indicators designed to capitalize on the same strengths as those evidenced by the original envelope. It could turn out that this just might be the only setup I rely on for executing trades. The idea is to enter positions when price is on the extreme side of the "tube" that is opposite the direction in which the (orange) gravitational trend line is sloping—especially after lengthy pullbacks that are followed by the candlesticks crossing back over the blue “trigger line.”
Tuesday, September 10, 2019 / 6:35 a.m. PST I returned to live trading in my OANDA account this week. Now I need to decide if I am going to live trade IQ Option as well. My system forecasts a drop in EURJPY between 6:30 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. PST, so I'm now waiting to see if it actually happens. RESULTS: EURJPY is in-the-money at expiry. However, it dropped over 10 pips, and this would have offered a satisfactory return via OANDA, so I'm just going to focus on that platform exclusively and leave IQ Option alone.
Given that I read IQ Option accepts U.S. citizens as clients and having concluded that I could probably double an initial $10 account balance rather quickly, and then double it again, and again, etc., I just now downloaded the site's Terms and Conditions to read them in detail. But alas, wherever I read the initial information I found about the site, it was incorrect... I an therefore now uninstalling the IQ Option platform from my laptop (even though I find their five-second charts to be quite useful with regard to revealing the precise moment a foreign currency reverses its short-term trend).
