It does not matter what race a person is. If a person WORKS hard enough, he can get what he wants. The emphasis has to be on the word WORKS. IF a person is lazy, he will get nothing.
Nigerians with average IQ of 84 is pretty high for Africa. Immigrants will have higher work ethic compared to average. Many will be 'Hyper conscientious' High IQ + Hard work ethic = Best predictor of success in life. Hard work without high IQ then requires entrepreneur mindset instead, otherwise you will just end up working hard making money for someone else and not yourself. Only a minority of hard workers will have entrepreneur mindset. With high IQ but non entrepreneur mind you can get your foot onto a high paying career working for someone else, especially in todays economy. Then hard work ethic on top will take you further up the ladder. High IQ + Extreme work ethic + Entrepreneur mind, you can probably be a billionaire. .
These results of this test... How do you standardize a test like that across a dozen or more cultures and socioeconomic levels? I don't think you can... ergo, its by no means a definitive set of results. It's not even close. More bs.
They can get on the Banana Boat then and come to the US, guys like Peterffy who couldnt even speak a word of english and had almost no money when they came here got on a boat (Petterfly's probably wasnt a banana boat as he came from Hungary, although maybe he came via africa ).
You say that like aspiring to be a billionaire is a high priority. I would say success in life comes down to far different outcomes then how much money you have. Certainly being your own boss and having enough money are good aspirations for many people ( enough is different for everyone ). But there are enough bitter or flawed rich people out there to show it can be a problem. Getting to the extreme top or extreme bottom is sometimes the domain of a psychotic personality. Who really needs a billion dollars ? Certainly if you have some income stream like Microsoft Windows that just keeps paying you, no problem. But look at all the unhappy people who happened to cross paths with Donald Trump over the years.
Just remember that Lynn who created the national tables on IQ knocking around the net is a modern eugenics fella who wanted people to think of eliminating inferior races not as genocide but "phasing out". He had his professorship stripped a few years back and his work many felt lacked scientifc rigor. If he was not a white nationalist he probably would have declined invitations to speak on a lot of extremist radio and publications. There is every chance his tables are very out of date and biased to his personal views.
It wasnt me who bought earning over 100,000 a year on this thread I was replying to NeoTrader. The Billionaire thing was just taking things to the extreme. Unless you have the three things i mentioned its probably not even worth trying. To raise a family these days, outside of relative poverty anyway, you need to earn >100K a year, although two incomes does make that easier. The Black community doesn't stand much of a chance with such high levels of single family households.
But it seems to be supported by anecdotal evidence like attendance at university. As a brown person who grew up in relative poverty, i managed to get into a good university. There were some Yellows, and Browns and majority Whites, but hardly any Blacks? There was no discrimination, there was no real interview process back then (1990s) for my college, you just needed good scores in your final year high school exams. Not even outstanding scores.
