  1. yes august/september is the peak season but if we havent had jack squat so far, that is not going to help the cause. where is global warming when you need it?

Dude, have patience. I got this data from NOAA, and it is not current, but from 1851 to 2004 (153 years), there were only 2 recorded hurricanes in the month of June and only 4 in the month of July. For perspective, there were 26 in August and 43 in September.

They are coming, hang in there.

(It's kinda just wrong to be rooting for a natural disaster isn't it?)

  5. You also want to take a look at your Nat-Gas land drillers like PTEN.

No debt, and a decent yield.
    Earnings are out August 2nd.
Should get an idea on rig-counts.

CSU has their hurricane forecast out Aug. 3rd, and NOAA has their mid-season update on August 9th.

    Stay tuned!

  10. Just getting my Google map scans of the ocean in and
A disturbance being monitored in the Atlantic is a tropical wave located about 485 miles east of the Windward Islands. The wave is moving westward at 10 to 15 mph and may be investigated by Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunters by midday Wednesday. This system still has a slight chance of becoming a depression over the next couple of days....

That's my wave folks... That's little Dean! Will he grow?
