    Hmm, not as many as I would like. This is troubling. What to do here. How does one go about selecting their favorite 2k songs? LOL.

  3. It depends on the bit rate of your songs(mp3's). Generally you would have a bit rate ranging from 128kbps (low quality) to 320kbps (high quality). The higher the bit rate, the larger the file size is for each song. Normally, when Apple says that a certain Ipod will hold "x number of songs" it is based on a bit rate of 128kbps. So, if you code your songs at a higher bit rate, expect your Ipod to hold much less. For example if all your songs are coded at a bit rate of 256kbps, your Ipod will only hold half the amount of songs than if you coded everything at 128kbps. My 4GB Ipod has songs that are coded on average at around 250kbps (most at 320, some at 128) and holds around 500 songs.
