IPE going all electronic - does anybody care?

Discussion in 'Financial Futures' started by tmzg, Mar 14, 2005.

  1. thanks - one thing I have wondered about is how big an account would be needed to get ICE access (eg a hedge fund)...

$5 million? $10 million? Because with the OTC clearing, that kind of takes care of credit issues doesn't it?

You say that TT have stopped offering ICE and may soon stop offering IPE. Aren't the two markets developed on the same API?

How is the electronic trading going on the IPE? Will it still be around for Interactive Brokers to go live?!

I'm sure it'll still be around, as volume seems to be increasing.

However, the exchange is very slow compared to the CME/CBOT/etc.

When are IB going to have IPE options? Futures are free of exchange fee with IB for data.
