IOC is still on my radar. While I'm getting a little more confident that this company is a fraud, I'm still not yet confident to increase my existing short position. Two interesting articles released in recent weeks: "InterOil (IOC) Smashed Again After Lame Press Release Announces Pretty Much Nothing" (25 May) http://finance.yahoo.com/news/InterOil-IOC-Smashed-Again-siliconalley-201532119.html?x=0&.v=3 "Interoil: Another Tyco or Crazy Eddie?" (6 May) http://seekingalpha.com/article/203471-interoil-another-tyco-or-crazy-eddie?source=yahoo Edited to add: Citron Research has been writing about IOC since January 2005. So like many other potential frauds, they may take some time to 'play out' on the downside.

Unlike some of the Chinese frauds of recent weeks where the stocks have been "found out" quickly, IOC has been a controversial stock for years. I'm just bumping this thread because I see that it is gapping lower in the premarket today. It could be the start of a big move lower, or, could just be a small move down based on brokerage downgrades of the stock. There are plenty of links earlier in this thread from various authors who believe that the company is a fraud. I have no position because this saga has been going on for years and even though it could be a fraud I'm not (yet) convinced that it is.
Still no position in IOC, but I think it's interesting stock. Possible catalyst in early November regarding a deadline for finding a partner for PNG operations: http://seekingalpha.com/article/641...e-is-missing-out-on-the-natural-gas-arbitrage

Something is happening with IOC today, the best idea I can think of is some kind of (very) delayed reaction to the $100 million loan facility news from this morning. More likely there is some kind of negative rumour / article about company that I have not yet seen.
