Decent week I guess. I broke my 7 week streak of out performing which is my only real disappointment this week. Some good news is I have a decent amount of protection should the market correct next week. All of my holdings are stopped out pretty significantly except MSFT, thus the underperformance this week. I hit a new high watermark and hopefully I can stay there this time. Please see attached spread sheet for full break down of account value and weekly performance. Okay results for the week are in. Pulled an out-performance by .05% which is good enough for me considering how stopped out I was going into this week. Please see attached spreadsheet for full breakdown of weekly performance. If anyone noticed, I sold all my calls this week/month in the money. I'm generally an eternal optimist/bull but for some reason..I'm a little nervous going into this next month. I thought the fake breakdown that happened early october was decent enough for me to call capitulation, the close was decent volume as we rallied 400 points in 45 minutes and the second I saw that unfolding I told myself "okay, the bottom is in". As we progress in this rally I am feeling less and less secure in that statement. We had a fake breakdown, and I am starting to think we are having a fake breakout. With that said, I sold all my strikes rather conservatively and ITM. Regardless, this should definitely be an interesting month and I am excited to see it unfold.
