Investing in the rise of BRIC nations

  1. Everyday in everyway theres an incessant torrent of news about the rise of these BRIC nations not just economically but in influence and political clout. Regardless of the merits of this, I'm really interested in the best way to trade on whats happening. Arguably, the flipside to this might be a continued decline in the status of the US, UK and Europe. It's a hot topic in terms of people's sentiments, but how to best invest? I don't think just buying an index or an EFT is sufficient. Maybe commodities but I'd prefer something linked to the rise in global influence of the nations, because I reckon thats harder to define, value and monitor and maybe underrated as a result. Appreciate any comments.

  2. Do the opposite of what "logic" tells you to do. Those countries are going to sink like a "brick" along with the rest of the world.
