  2. Exactly what I said...their documentation says this function is called on each tick. Not sure if this is truly the case though...

<a href="http://www.forexmicrolot.com/"> Forex</a>FXCM Micro is for traders who prefer the flexibility and convenience of trading in small (1K, 2K) lots, but are not willing to sacrifice tight spreads or quality execution. With FXCM Micro, you can open an account with as little as $25, yet trade with competitive spreads.

The level of programming you guys are discussing is way above my head, but what a piece of software calls "a tick" is sometimes different what other pieces of software call "a tick".

    Example:

    market 700 bid-700.25 ask. Last trade 700.

    start:
    1-1 700.25 trades 10 lots.
    1-2 700.25 trades 5 lots.
    1-3 700.25 trades 50 lots.
    1-4 700.25 trades 20 lots.
    2-5 700.50 trades 5 lots. (market is now 700.25-700.50)

software 1 will call "a tick" only the 1-1 and 2-5 lines.

software 2 will call "a tick" every one of the 5 lines above.

It'd be nice to know what ninja-zenfire calls "a tick", if only to have knowledge of it, and have common meaning.

That's my 2c and probably worth less for most readers.

    Thanks again Gomi!

I have never used NinjaTrader before.

I loaded the Gomi's indicator on 1 tick ES chart ,
during late evening overnight hours when ES is slow.
I also loaded a ES Time and Sales window,to calculate delta manually.

I found that the delta is calculated correctly:
the CD is calculated tick by tick,
    but seems that there is
1 tick lag vs Time and Sales window.

  6. No, not what you said. A tick is a trade, not a change in price. Again, all in their docs.

I want to code some stuff in ninjatrader but im a pc moron.

  8. I don't need no stinkin' technicals - stock_trd3r showed up bullish last week, and that's the only inverted head I need to see to know for a fact that a crash is imminent.

A pic of turder trading, inverted head in position:

    Hey guys.

My trading computer crashed a couple of weeks ago, along with all off my charts and preferences. Need less to say, I have learned my lesson and will allways keep a copy of my charting preferences on a backup data-stick (think thats what it's named in english?).

Anyways, I believe I have finally managed to create simillar chartings on my new computer now, but I feel I am getting some funny readings on my CD indicator. I know most of you guys in this thread trade ES, but are there anyone here who allso trade NQ and might take a minute to compare your CD readings with mine?

Here is todays action from a 1k vol. chart: http://www.sierrachart.com/userimages/upload_2/1238445404_41_UploadImage.png

Hoping for some feedback on this.

    Take care guys!
