  2. Your CD DT in the morning is wrong - the new IRT release should fix this

The noontime bounce was a result of the huge long zone created yesterday in the 70-80 zone

You'll have to do some more research to determine what, when, and where divergences can help you.

Remember, in trading you're not trying to play every signal you may see. You only want the "perfect" ones...

Hey guys, thanks for the charts for comparison...I've been having the same/similar data feed issues with IRT/IQ/Transact/Etc. Hope to see this all sorted out soon. Linnsoft has also indicated they will be looking into supporting zenfire "eventually", which would be fantastic imo.

Here is a nice trick I've been using to quickly measure delta change between S/R, pivots, etc. Draw a trendline between the points of interest and put a Total Delta label on it.

  4. Hey Tbug......yes indeed having fun with the family!!!

Today that low 800's run was what I call a stolen ball "lay-up" selling the 800's/801's  I mean they just don't get any more straightforward of a set up than that.......also, this trade has just hit +25 point targets with the trading into the 775's :) You never know how far these trades can run once you work in a decent position at a solid delta zone. I will be watching this off and on tonight and into tomorrow.....see if we can get some additional targets

I would like to say, some of you are working out all the data issues in a very intelligent manner.....if Investor RT could ever get Zenfire to work out as a feed this would be AMAZING imo!!!

  5. On a side note for some of you sharp programmer/computer types (like some of the posters in this thread.....you guys are GOOD!).......take a look at SPY and QQQQ using the delta and see the data inconsistencies there. I started to look at these two instruments a few years ago and then just never took the time to finish the work.......can any of you sharp guys find any fixes??? It would be nice to find a "clean" way to track the delta data for these instruments too!

    THNX In Advance!

  6. Hey AMT unfortunately my Zen Fire feed does not provide the ability to retrieve SPY/QQQQ. Can you elaborate on what data inconsistencies you saw? If it was a feed/platform issue, there's nothing we can do?

    Feel free to pm/email me.

  7. Yes.....in the past using both DTN.IQ and Esignal I found many what appeared to be "bad ticks" of odd volume spikes (like 50,000 share ticks.....hmmmm?). It seemed to me those occasional volume spikes were bad data but was not sure.....it really messed up any attempt to track the delta properly in the two instruments I mentioned.

  8. Ahh; I would presume they've fixed it. I see they've had feed problems in the past -->http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?threadid=117012 so that could be related.

A few of us performed a T&S comparison for Zen, IQ, and Transact over the past few days over a high volume time frame and have found no discrepancies.

Depending on your setup, it would not be difficult to automatically go through and drop "obviously" bad ticks. Just need to let your script know what's normal & what's not. You can be absolute (anything over 30k is abnormal) or compute an avg and if anything is say 5000% of the previous 100 ticks, drop it. But yeah, if the problem is with the feed, you can never be 100% sure of the integrity whether you manually "fix" the bad ticks or not.

I doubt it's worth the trouble

  9. Correct....I was looking at a "tick scrubber" at the time to add to the overall delta tracking tool I was using for use in the track of the SPY/QQQQ or other stocks.

I may have to go and relook at those instruments to see if the phenomena is still present. :)
