Inverted head and shoulders on the SPX?

  1. Correct....I do not care who the buyers or sellers are.....just how heavy are all the accumulated positions and from what levels. :)

Rollover is not a big deal for me.......I just watch/track both contracts during the transition until the current contract stops trading.

  2. Nice Amt...very nice as usual.

you may need that plane up and flying by the end of the week. Could be an explosive move up or down.....if down....it will be nice to have that plane on hand

    :(

Nice extended descending channel starting in Nov 2008 up until now March 2009...with temporary support in the 680.00 area. If we can close above 670.00 today would help in the bullish camp.

  5. Remember....you are already +10 in the money.....take some green in case they go to retest todays high. :) This market is BUILDING UP some potential ENERGY....I can feel it so she could run either way with a catalyst. :)

If we see "layering" of buy support going into the area just above 675's, that will be more evidence to me the market is getting primed for a rally......heads up. :)

  6. So you just assume all the active S/R inventory is held across rollover? And are not waiting for open interest to stabilize on the new contract before using it to build new S/R levels?

Rollover was another reason why I had shied away from this approach in the past, but I guess I was needlessly confusing myself! :D Thanks again for all the clarifications.

  7. Thanks for the heads up....i did scale out of a little more at 683. At this point, if i get stopped out, it will be a wash for the play.

    New lows please.

  8. No problem......the price action many years in a row now from my observations shows that rollover makes no significant difference. :)

  9. Good one......take advantage of the price rotations and if the market does sell off to test lows then you can have a few still on to take advantage of the move. :)

  10. Yes...makes total sense.

exit part of the position in the event I get stopped out....which will be a wash at worst. If the market does continue to trend, then i will be able to take advantage with a few runners.

    COOL
