%% I also use a form of your [Vwma] volume weighted moving average , but on hourly charts sometimes...………………………………………………………………………..And since only one of my chart services uses Vwma, I usually use a simple or exponential ma on volume/with discretion.LOL
back in inverses, here's current tiny starter positions for swingtrading (2 accts) as of 2:30pmET 9/17 totals (approx): SQQQ 90shares ($2400) SRTY 70sh ($570) TZA 60sh ($1k) SOXS 15sh ($650) SPXS 100sh ($600) etc goal = scale up
%% i didnt know if it was me, but since the swings were so wild/easy for me to lose on it,SOXS; but i did better with TECS,SQQQ, so i traded them more. SQQQ can get pretty wild also/but i usually have some TQQQ...........................................................................................
%% I haven't looked @ SQQQ today; but with SPXS + QLD, charts, your sqqq chart looks like it pays to be out before last little bit with inverse ETFs/red volume/price.LOL I told that younger trader 100% use volume in tech analysis; its a requirement to enter his stock/etf order...………………………………………………………………………………………..
I want to make $$$ swing trading this, imho it has "buy me" written all over it if it breaks over $30; similar charts SPXS SDOW TZA/SRTY
%% I was thinking about a buy on spxs today/fri/25; but not yet;looks like spy + related found support below 50dma. I did cut a loss on cash SPY related ETF, tech etfs are doing so much better.Even though its most likely it could be profitable in late SEPT/oct...…………...………………………………...…... Even if spy goes down a bit more; easier to find a bottom with it off 10% from 52 week hi; tqqq off 33% from 52 week hi. Good for sqqq/tecs more than tqqq in SEPT.
