  1. I think I end up saying this every day, but..... THANK YOU!!!

    Your commentary of the days action is spot on and really helps others get a sense of what is actually taking place. The charts are extremely helpful in explaining what you've described throughout the day.

    I can honestly say that this is the best, and most helpful, thread that I've participated in on ET. The bashers haven't shown up yet and I really hope they leave us alone. haha

    AMT, if you were going to look for an opportunity to re-short the market, what zone would you be eyeing for a possibly entry?

  3. Okay A Little Code Breaking Here... To Pass The Time...

    Its a might bit easier than when i had to break the Nazis Enigma Machine to save the free world... back when... but that's another story..

    ....... and we have...

    A = Auction
    M = Market
    T = Theory
    4 = For
    S = South
    W = West
    A = Australia

    = AMT4SWA... or... we could also have..

    AMT4CDV... as a side handle.... :) ...

    The market is a puzzle too... a little GO, a little Chess, a little Checkers a little Sudoku and a lot of random fractal insanity...

    :)

  4. lol... I believe he used to work for South West Airlines.

    Although.. AMT4CDV is a good handle... or AMT4IRT...

    I must say, I am glad he introduced me to IRT... it's not the best program in terms of reliability or stability, but it does have some very nice features.

    The most annoying feature is probably the memory limitation... 2gb database max. I sometimes pull up a chart that is "too big" and I get "out of memory" errors... very annoying.

  6. :)

    That is strange... I am a software programmer and the IRT developers should be able to see that error BEFORE the chart loads... when you complain to them you can quote me...

    You can 'trap' for an error before the rest of the software code completes its action (loads the chart) and thereby spare the user from an unnecessary error message...

    and 2gb database max limitation should also be re thought... although it might take a bit of pain to remedy for IRT...

    thanks...

  7. :eek: ... :eek:

    Well it took two or three shots at getting Enigma broken too.. and a lot of pleading from Churchill... who, by the way, could not trade worth a damn, but was a pretty decent copy writer...

    back to the drawing board... and the trading board...

    :)

  9. No problem.

    As far as selling goes, you should look for good intraday short divergence set ups going forward since we are well below any significant delta zones at current price.

  10. Very clear charts and explanations. A couple of questions:

    (1) How can you tell from the CD chart which buying pulse is the one that defines the top of the newly layered zone (reportedly at 881).

    (2) Do you measure the newly layered inventory directly from the CD differential in the buy pulses zone?

    D.
