Of course I can make this statement and your reply has just confirmed it. Trading ES for substantial rewards is as much about clear rational thinking as it is about common sense and this requires some very hard work and original thought on behalf of the new trader until the simplicity of the puzzle becomes clear. ET is a different story all together. In the main it is where noobies come for guidance, direction and like minded companionship. Not all contributors fit this mould, there are a few clear thinkers here, but they are mainly unrecognisable to the bulk of the herd. Try to understand that in no way am I critical of the OP and in no way am I trying to steer you guys in any direction. After all, we are just Usernames to each other. We do not know each other and it is most unlikely that we ever will. Also, it is worth bearing in mind that experience can always look back, but naivety cannot look forward. Hence the grave imbalance here at ET which in turn lead to frequent exchanges of stupidity. All this occurs because the site owner is on a different agenda. One which has nothing in common with "elite trader" Quite the opposite in fact. Never the less there is more than enough information on this site for anyone of us to assemble a profitable trading plan that suits our requirements To the followers of this thread, your choices are very clear. 1) ignore my posts and bravely march on into the fog hoping that it will clear. 2) reply with an abusive post or PM 3) possibly open your minds (even just a little bit) to the thought that whilst you are complicating the living hell out of selecting your entries, the real guts of consistently profitable trading is passing you by. Just following on from my last post. It has been mentioned that CDs are a wonderful confirmation of other signals, and this concept of confirming the obvious has been keenly lapped up by people still struggling to find their pathway to original thought. Let me offer a picture of "confirming of the obvious" It might help some people. It is January 28 in Chicago and a man who considers himself to be of above average intellect, actually, make that "of way above average intellect" is standing beside a lake. He notes that the air temperature is many degrees below freezing and observes that the lake is heavily frozen over and fishermen have cut a hole in the ice. He adds the time of year to the very low temperature, includes the thickness of the ice and deduces that the water is very cold. Life threateningly cold in fact. His mercurial mind wanders back to all that he has learned from his years on ET and an overwhelming desire for confirmation of his obvious deduction sweeps across him. He strips off his clothes and plunges head long into the fishing hole. Immediately his testicles disappear into his body, not to be seen again until the fourth of July. Passing fishermen pull him from the water and warm and revive him from his near death experience. "Why did you do that" one of them asked. The man, now fully aware of his own stupidity in trying to confirm the obvious, called upon his vast ET experience and offers no reply. sosueme
