  1. I know you guys are huge fans of divergences here. I'm just posting to let newbies know that in some markets, this can fail with alarming high frequency. Lately, I've been taking heavy losses trying to play obvious divergences that shortly thereafter, cease being divergences. Be careful with this delta tool IMHO.

    With kind regards,

  2. What I said.... +1

I like my system. 14+ points today in a sideways market. Divergence cost me years of wasted time and more importantly profits. Be careful imo too.

  3. Banging 14 points on a limited range day like today deserves some kudos. I want in ;)

With so many high rate winners in this, and most other online forums, one really has to ask who is paying for it all...

The market sure looks like a philantropic machine with an endless bounty, if one is to judge by the comments one reads.

Perhaps I'm the only freak of nature that finds it incredibly hard to win, and at a very small rate. Perhaps I'm just jealous too.

What do you know 898.25 traded after all.

  5. Your logic is wrong. Took me many many years to even go near S&P contract, let alone trade it. I already had a decade of successful commodity trading BEFORE attempting ES.

    Good luck today.

No bro. My logic is flawless. It's a zero sum game. Someone has to be paying for the enormous amount of high rate winners and their followers prevalent at this and most other forums. Must be someone really rich.

It is you who is wrong, by taking the comments in a personal way.

Thanks for the good luck charm. I'll take it.

p.s.: I made a mistake. It's not a zero sum game. Someone has to pay the brokers, the exchanges, the phone calls, etc, etc. A billion $ industry. It's a negative sum game.

  7. 10:24AM (June 24): With Qs at 35.79, I am taking all my long profits off. And starting to scale in on short side.

Anyone dare take the other side of this trade?

    :p

  8. Didn't take it personally. Didn't think it was directed at me.

  9. Okay so our 20k net longs from 884-888 are now +~16 to the good... so 920 shorts vs 884 longs? Gap fill left over at ~915.

Well...of your 34 word response...27 words were about you trying to justify your previous claims or talking about yourself. I call that personal.

And these 11 words from your post above add to 38...if the shoe fits...

I just find it hard to believe that one can make 14 points per day, with size everyday (or every week for that matter). It's just incredibly hard for me to make an infinitesimally smaller amount.

Actually, I consider a titan anyone that can better than breakeven, over a long period of time, at this game.

It is what it is. I'll give you back your good luck charm.
